Job Summary:

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers, suppliers, and warehouses. This role involves handling loading/unloading of materials, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and ensuring all delivery documentation is properly completed.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicle (truck/van) to deliver goods to customers and suppliers.

Load and unload goods at warehouse and delivery locations.

Verify delivery documents such as invoices, delivery challans, and receipts.

Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.

Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

Follow all traffic rules and company safety policies.

Maintain delivery records and report any delivery issues or delays.

Assist in warehouse operations when required.

Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.

Coordinate with warehouse staff and transport manager for delivery schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid commercial driving license (LMV/Heavy Vehicle, as applicable).

2–5 years of driving experience in a wholesale, logistics, or FMCG company preferred.

Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.

Basic communication and record-keeping skills.

Physically fit and punctual.

Honest, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 (Depending on experience and vehicle type)
