THE ROLE We're seeking a Senior Manager, Software Test Engineering , to lead our QA strategy and execution across our technology solutions. This role is pivotal in driving quality, reliability, and innovation while fostering a high-performance, collaborative QA culture. You will lead test automation, process improvement, and the development of scalable testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for quality engineering and leadership skills to lead the QA team and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams. WHAT YOU WILL DO Strategy & Leadership Define and drive QA strategy aligned with business and product goals. Lead the development of scalable, risk-based testing methodologies. Serve as a QA thought leader—driving innovation, tools adoption, and best practices. Cultivate a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement. Represent QA in cross-functional forums, influencing technical and strategic decisions. Test Execution & Automation Lead end-to-end QA across functional, automation, integration, and performance testing. Build reusable automation frameworks that improve test speed, coverage, and reliability. Incorporate AI/ML to optimize test coverage, reduce defect rates, and streamline test design. Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual test overhead Data, Tools & Environment Optimization Design test data and environment strategies to support complex test scenarios. Implement metrics dashboards for quality KPIs, using insights to drive action. Monitor team performance through structured productivity metrics and feedback loops. Governance & Process Excellence Ensure QA practices adhere to internal standards and external compliance requirements. Optimize resource allocation and utilization across multiple concurrent initiatives. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Delivery to ensure high-quality, timely releases Talent Development & Team Building Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing QA team. Develop training programs to upskill engineers in tools, techniques, and leadership. Promote a feedback-rich culture with clear expectations and growth paths. WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of QA experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Proven track record managing distributed QA teams of 10+ engineers. Deep expertise in test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools. Hands-on experience in performance, security, A/B, and risk-based testing. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated success in strategic QA planning and execution. Strong people management skills, with experience in mentoring, guiding, and supporting Senior QA professionals. Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization, resource allocation, and productivity improvements. Ability to influence decisions and foster alignment across technical and business teams. Ability to build and sustain strong relationships across engineering, development, and business teams to ensure quality-driven delivery. This customer-facing role provides first-tier application support to customers via phone, web or email communications and confirms appropriate solutions effectively meet and exceed customer expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Works with customers to identify, troubleshoot, and solve issues being reported. Works cross functionally with other team resources to efficiently resolve reported issues from customers, as well as appropriately escalating complex issues to SME's, SaaS team, and technical experts. Provide excellent support for at least one Trintech application. Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure alignment with business objectives. Work a rotating Saturday and regional Holiday shift as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent software support experience required. 0-2 year of customer service experience in a SaaS Software environment desired.
