Deputy Manager – Planning QS Roles Responsibilities Project Planning Scheduling: Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera. Track project progress, update schedules, and highlight deviations. Coordinate with execution teams to ensure timely delivery as per plan. Assist in developing work breakdown structures (WBS) and resource planning. Quantity Surveying Cost Management: Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications. Monitor actual vs. estimated quantities and highlight variances. Assist in vendor rate analysis, negotiation, and finalization. Billing Certification: Prepare RA (Running Account) bills and final bills for contractors. Verify subcontractor and vendor bills based on actual work done. Coordinate with the accounts team for timely bill processing and payments. Budgeting Cost Control: Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking actual costs. Maintain cost records and prepare cost reports for internal review. Identify and suggest cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Documentation Reporting: Maintain all QS and planning-related documents.
