Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Hedge Accounting Analyst to join our team in Chennai and Noida. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in hedge accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Monitor and report on segmental P&L, including head office and statutory accounts.
  • Manage model management for bespoke hedge accounting activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Analyze trading performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities.
  • Provide timely and high-quality support to senior colleagues and external auditors.
Job Requirements
  • Strong understanding of hedge accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and insights.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing detailed analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • A degree (or higher) from a top-tier university is required.
  • Fully qualified accountant.
  • CFA or master's in finance/financial engineering is advantageous.
  • Articleship or industrial trainee in mid to large-sized firms.
  • Audit exposure in large financial institutions/banks is preferred.

  • This role requires leadership responsibilities, including supervising a team, guiding professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating resources.

  • Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex/sensitive information.
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organization.
