Job Title: Transport Supervisor

Reports to: Operations Manager/Transport Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Transport Supervisor to oversee our fleet of cabs and manage our team of drivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Management: Supervise and coordinate the movement of cabs, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.

2. Driver Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.

3. Route Optimization: Plan and optimize routes to minimize travel time, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall efficiency.

4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, and drivers comply with safety regulations and traffic laws.

5. Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time performance, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction.

7. Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintain accurate records, and perform administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in a supervisory role.

2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Transportation Management or related field preferred.

3. Skills:

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

- Proficient in GPS tracking systems and transportation software

- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws

4. Certifications: Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications (e.g., defensive driving certification)

Working Conditions:

1. Work Environment: Office and field-based work, with frequent travel to supervise drivers and inspect vehicles.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:
