We combine hands-on operations expertise with customer-first commercial execution to help exporters, traders and e-commerce sellers scale their supply chains. Job summary We’re hiring a commercial-minded Sales & Marketing professional to own new-business development, customer acquisition and demand generation for Transpeed Cargo. You’ll identify & close accounts across export/import/3PL/express verticals, create proposals, manage pipelines in a CRM and work closely with operations to convert quotes into on-time deliveries and long-term customers. Key responsibilities Own full sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, commercial proposals, negotiation, closing and onboarding. Generate leads via calls, LinkedIn outreach, trade shows, customer referrals and partner networks; follow up and nurture pipeline in CRM. Prepare competitive quotations (air/sea/road/rail), price sheets and service proposals; work with operations to confirm feasibility, transit times and routings. Maintain accurate CRM records (calls, meetings, quotes, contracts), produce weekly/monthly sales reports and forecast to achieve revenue & margin targets. Build and sustain relationships with shippers, NVOCCs, carriers, customs brokers and port/airline contacts. Collaborate with marketing to run targeted campaigns (verticals: e-commerce, perishables, high-value goods), create pitch decks, case studies and digital outreach. Stay current on trade regulations, INCOTERMS, customs procedures and documentation (BL, AWB, commercial invoice, packing list, insurance). Must-have (essential) skills & experience 2+ years in sales (logistics / freight forwarding / 3PL / courier preferred); for senior roles 5+ years with proven revenue targets achieved. Strong understanding of international shipping modes, freight pricing components, basic customs & international trade concepts (INCOTERMS, BL/AWB). Excellent commercial negotiation & closing skills; experience preparing commercial proposals and contracting. CRM literate (Salesforce/Zoho/Freshsales or similar); disciplined pipeline management and forecasting. Strong verbal & written communication — comfortable with client presentations and email negotiations. Customer-first mindset, service orientation, and ability to liaise between sales and operations teams. Nice-to-have (desirable) Network of contacts in import/export companies, customs brokers, and carrier sales. Experience selling verticalized solutions: e-commerce fulfillment, temperature-controlled shipments, high-value/expedited cargo. Multi-language skills (advantage for specific trade lanes). Competency with freight management platforms or TMS. Qualifications Graduate (any stream). Degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Commerce is a plus. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets — include metrics in your CV (revenue won, number of accounts, retention %). KPIs / What success looks like (first 6–12 months) Pipeline build: X qualified leads / month. Closed revenue: meet or exceed agreed monthly/quarterly revenue & gross-profit targets. New clients onboarded: target Y accounts (depending on seniority). Quote-to-book conversion rate improvement and reduction in lead response time. Clean CRM hygiene and timely sales reporting.
