Trainee Manager

Job Description: As a Trainee Manager at our store located at 129 Cromwellsfort Road, Walkinstown, D12, your main purpose will be to support the management team in all aspects of the store's operation. You will have the opportunity to gain detailed experience in individual departments throughout the store. Your role will involve setting, monitoring, and achieving sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with the Store Manager. Additionally, you will participate in all training and development initiatives, performance assessments, merchandise presentation, supply procedures, and department management. You should thrive in a fast-paced working environment and be passionate about grocery retail. Key Responsibilities: - Actively live Centra brand-values - Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team - Participate in training and development initiatives - Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard - Implement planograms correctly - Gain competence in supply procedures - Manage assigned departments - Engage with new initiatives and ways of working Qualifications Required: - 1 year of experience in the retail industry (desirable) - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) - Experience balancing cash/tills (desirable) - Experience with fresh food - Excellent communication skills - Good delegation skills - Highly driven with a strong work ethic - Commerciality and brand awareness - Passion for grocery retail About The Locality: You must be available to work between 5:30 am and 10 pm. The shifts are as follows: - Monday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Tuesday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Wednesday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Thursday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Friday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Saturday: 05:30 to 22:00 - Sunday: 07:00 to 22:00 Please note that the start and finish times stated are only approximate.,
