Traffic In-Charge

Zenxl is a leading logistics firm specializing in road and air transportation. We provide efficient and reliable logistics solutions to our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traffic In-Charge to oversee vehicle hiring and fleet management.

Job Summary:

The Traffic In-Charge will be responsible for managing the entire vehicle hiring process and ensuring effective utilization and maintenance of the fleet. This role involves coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize transportation operations while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, hire, and manage vehicles required for transportation operations based on business needs.
• Maintain coordination with vehicle owners, drivers, and transport contractors.
• Monitor vehicle schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Track vehicle performance, availability, and maintenance schedules.
• Negotiate hiring contracts and optimize costs related to vehicle procurement.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, expenses, and documentation.
• Address and resolve any transportation-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the operations team for route planning and load management.
• Supervise vehicle inspections, repairs, and upkeep to ensure fleet efficiency.
• Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in vehicle fleet management or traffic coordination within the logistics or transport sector.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle hiring practices and transportation regulations.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve operational challenges.
• Proficient with transportation management software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and understanding of vehicle maintenance preferred.
