Tower technician

Role Overview: As a Tower Technician, your role will involve climbing and working at significant heights on communication towers while using specialized equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various components such as antennas, transmission lines, and auxiliary equipment. Ensuring safety compliance by adhering to all regulations, conducting inspections, and reporting any issues will be paramount. Additionally, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues to maintain optimal network performance will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Climbing and Working at Heights: Comfortably climb communication towers and work at significant heights using specialized equipment. - Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain components like antennas, transmission lines, and auxiliary equipment. - Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, conduct inspections, and report any issues. - Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, perform necessary repairs for optimal network performance. Qualification Required: - Prior experience as a Tower Technician or in a similar role is preferred. - Ability to work at heights and use specialized climbing equipment safely. - Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to tower climbing and equipment installation. - Strong troubleshooting and repair skills to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
