We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher and Kitchen Helper to join our continental restaurant's kitchen team. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen equipment, assisting with basic food prep, and maintaining overall kitchen order. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of the kitchen and supports chefs in delivering a high-quality dining experience. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate the commercial dishwasher and ensure proper maintenance and use of chemicals. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and waste bins. Handle glassware and delicate items with care to prevent breakage. Kitchen Helper Duties Assist chefs in basic food prep (e.g., peeling, chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients). Refill station supplies and ingredients as needed during service hours. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, shelves, walk-ins, and prep areas. Receive, unpack, and store deliveries following proper FIFO method and hygiene standards. Help in plate setup or garnishing under chef’s guidance, if required. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with continental cuisine kitchen practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards. Physically fit – able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team. Working Hours 10hours Availability on weekends and holidays is preferred.

Operational Efficiency – Optimize workflows to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially du ring peak hours.
