As a Transaction Monitoring People Leader at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in managing operations within a business area and maintaining processes with risk management initiatives. In this role based out of Chennai, your purpose will be to support Transaction Monitoring by investigating and reporting suspicious activity to the NCA when necessary. Your accountabilities will include: - Supporting day-to-day Transaction Monitoring initiatives through AML expertise. - Executing monitoring checks to identify potential risks and comply with regulatory requirements. - Managing issues and alerts arising from transition monitoring tests. - Collaborating with teams to align and integrate Transaction Monitoring processes. - Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change. - Developing and implementing Transaction Monitoring procedures and controls. - Staying updated on industry trends to implement best practices. - Participating in projects to improve Transaction Monitoring efficiency.
