Job Title: Sr. Cloud Support Engineer - TKG (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Service) Level: L2 Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office only). Summary: We are looking for a proficient and detail-oriented L2 TKGS Operations Engineer to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters within vSphere environments. The candidate will have hands-on experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Service, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. This role involves monitoring cluster health, resolving incidents, implementing standard operating procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and security of containerized workloads. Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day operations and support for TKGS clusters. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes and vSphere layers. Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes as needed. Collaborate with L3 and platform teams for escalations and improvements. Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles. Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution for TKGS-related issues, escalating to L3 when necessary. Coordinate with VMware support for issue resolution and updates. Education : BE/B.Tech./ Bachelor or equivalent degree Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in TKGM/TKGS administration. Certification: CKA/ITIL V4 Knowledge: Assist in the setup and lifecycle management of Supervisor and Tanzu Kubernetes clusters. Monitor and troubleshoot cluster components including control plane, worker nodes, pods, services, ingress, volumes, and namespaces. Ensure integration with vSphere features such as HA, DRS, vSAN, and NSX-T. Maintain and update operational documentation, including SOPs and architecture diagrams. Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to support hybrid workloads across containers and VMs. Implement and maintain security configurations like RBAC, network policies, and resource quotas. Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and vSphere-native solutions to ensure cluster health. Coordinate with VMware support for issue resolution and platform updates. Log and manage incidents using ITSM tools. Skills: Support the setup, provisioning, and lifecycle management of Supervisor and Tanzu Kubernetes clusters. Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes components: control plane, worker nodes, pods, services, ingress, volumes, and namespaces.
