Title MongoDB Developer

As a MongoDB Physical Data Modeller, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Physical Data Models for MongoDB. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing practical, scalable schemas by analysing and translating provided Logical Data Models (LDMs). - Interpreting Logical Data Models to understand their structure, relationships, and requirements. - Collaborating with business analysts and data architects to ensure a deep understanding of entity relationships, dependencies, and attribute definitions. - Designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient data models in MongoDB to meet performance and storage requirements. - Acting as a bridge between database management, development, and infrastructure teams to align data models with application requirements and infrastructure limitations. - Applying best practices for data modelling in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and data distribution. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all Physical Data Models, schema changes, and MongoDB configurations. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align data models with business needs, and ensure data quality. - Providing insights and recommendations for MongoDB schema design improvements and enhancements. - Guiding junior team members and stakeholders on best practices in MongoDB data modelling and usage to foster a deeper understanding across the organization. Qualifications: - Demonstrable hands-on experience in designing, deploying, & managing MongoDB PDMs for large-scale applications. - Strong knowledge of MongoDB concepts, including schema design, index strategies, and query optimization. - Ability to interpret and work with Logical Data Models to create scalable, robust Physical Data Models. - Expertise in document-oriented database design, with a deep understanding of data normalization and denormalization techniques specific to MongoDB. - Proficiency with MongoDB tools (e.g., Compass, Atlas) and data modelling software. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Skills: - Experience with other NoSQL databases or data modelling tools. - Familiarity with industry standards in data modelling and database design. - Knowledge of industry-standard data modelling practices and familiarity with MongoDB performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.,
