Title Lead - Data Visualization

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead - Data Visualization to join our team and contribute to the implementation of ongoing and new initiatives. If you are passionate about learning, strategic thinking, innovation, and assisting others, this role is for you! Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing tools such as Power BI, conducting data analysis, and working with SQL/PL SQL. Secondary skills in Agile Concepts, Azure, and any Database will also be beneficial for this role. As a Data Visualization specialist, you will be responsible for transforming data into graphical representations that help communicate relationships, patterns, and trends effectively. By creating visual summaries of information through charts and graphs, you will simplify the process of data analysis and sharing insights. Key responsibilities will involve defining BI tools schemas, designing and implementing BI solutions, performance tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and interpreting business requirements. You will collaborate with DBAs on data model changes, ensure data security and privacy, and work closely with project stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should have experience in various visualization techniques, data profiling, and validation, as well as a strong understanding of advanced SQL programming concepts. Proficiency in data warehouse concepts, relational and non-relational databases, data streams, and file stores is essential. Your logical reasoning, analytical skills, and willingness to learn and take initiatives will be valuable assets. Additional requirements include advanced proficiency in Power BI for creating complex dashboards and reports, expertise in data modeling and building efficient data structures, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. You should be adept at translating data into informative reports and visuals, implementing row-level security, and making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Furthermore, previous experience in leading a team of developers and analysts, mentoring junior team members, and possessing strong project management skills will be advantageous for overseeing the development lifecycle of visualization projects.
