As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing ongoing and new initiatives for the company. It aids in communicating data relationships effectively through visual summaries, making it easier to identify patterns and trends compared to traditional data analysis methods. Your responsibilities will include defining BI tools schema, designing and implementing BI solutions, as well as performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting. You will interpret business requirements into functional and technical specifications, manage data security and privacy, and collaborate closely with DBAs on data model changes. Participation in after-hours support rotation and effective communication with project stakeholders are also essential aspects of the role. To excel in this position, you should have experience in various visualization techniques, data profiling, and validation. Proficiency in advanced SQL programming, knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, and familiarity with databases and data storage methods are required. Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and a proactive learning attitude are key attributes for success in this role. Moreover, advanced proficiency in Power BI for creating complex dashboards and reports, expertise in data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications are vital.
