Title GCP

As a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. Your role will require a deep understanding of cloud architecture, GCP services, and best practices for building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. You must have hands-on experience with GCP tools, infrastructure automation, and cloud security. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing robust and scalable cloud architectures leveraging GCP services to meet business requirements. You will also lead cloud migration initiatives and optimize existing GCP environments for cost, performance, and reliability. Implementing and maintaining infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager will be crucial in this role. Integration with various GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions to create cohesive and efficient solutions will be part of your daily tasks. Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP-native tools like Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging will also be essential. You will need to ensure that cloud environments adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements by implementing IAM policies, encryption, and network security measures. To be successful in this role, you must have expertise in GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager, strong knowledge of cloud security, programming skills in languages like Python or Go, and familiarity with data engineering concepts are essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with GCP monitoring tools, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required. Preferred qualifications for this role include GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer, experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and exposure to AI/ML services like Vertex AI.
