Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Project and Proposal Specialist located in Mumbai ( Maharashtra). The Project and Proposal Specialist will be responsible for managing and writing proposals, handling RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, and effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals and deadlines are met. Job Responsibilities I . Proposal Writing & Fundraising Research and identify funding opportunities from government agencies, CSR, foundations, and private donors. Develop and submit 10–15 high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and applications per month. Collaborate with program, finance, and operations teams to gather necessary inputs for proposals and donor reports. Tailor each proposal to meet specific funder guidelines and expectations. Revise and rework proposals based on internal reviews and donor feedback. Maintain a centralized repository of proposals, templates, budgets, and supporting documents. II. Project Management & Monitoring Support end-to-end project lifecycle management – from initiation, planning, and execution to reporting and closure. Monitor project progress, deliverables, and budgets in coordination with field teams. Conduct regular field visits to TRF and other sites to assess project implementation and impact.
