Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior IT Associate to be the single point of contact for all aspects of Tibrewala Electronics Limited's information technology systems and support. This is a hands-on role offering significant learning and growth opportunities, including playing a key part in migrating our core productivity suite. You will be responsible for learning and increasingly managing our current Google Workspace (G Suite) environment, leading the setup of new hardware, actively participating in the transition to Microsoft 365 (including Intune, Purview, and Entra ID), managing our endpoint security with Crowd Strike, providing comprehensive tech support, assisting with IT procurement, delivering user training, and continuously identifying and implementing improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of IT principles, a strong passion for technology, an eagerness to learn rapidly, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. While prior experience is valued, we are keenly interested in candidates, including recent graduates, who demonstrate exceptional potential and a drive to excel. Key Responsibilities: IT Operations & Infrastructure Management: Learn to oversee and manage IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, and end-user computing devices. Work towards ensuring high availability, security, and performance of all IT systems. Perform routine system checks, assist with maintenance, and learn backup procedures. Help develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist in managing disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Monitor security alerts, assist in investigating incidents, and implement remediation actions under guidance. Ensure all endpoints are protected and up-to-date with security policies. Promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization. Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures. Technical Support & Hardware Setup: Provide timely and effective technical support to all employees for hardware, software, network, and application issues (both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 during/after transition). Set up, configure, and deploy new hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals) for new and existing employees. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. Manage helpdesk requests and ensure issues are tracked and resolved efficiently. Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist in managing the procurement of all IT hardware, software, and services, focusing on cost-effectiveness and alignment with company needs. Help evaluate and select vendors, and learn to manage vendor relationships. Maintain an inventory of IT assets. Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives: Actively seek to understand existing IT systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
