Intern – Sales Development and Customer Success Thieme Medical and Scientific Publishers - India Job Location - YTD Job Description The role involves promoting Thieme Online Databases, and other services the company currently has or may bring in the future. The candidate will be responsible for on field brand and product awareness among prospects as well as existing customers to increase usage. The candidate will work targeting Individual doctors, academic institutes, medical colleges, research organizations and corporate hospitals, in the country/Region. The role will be responsible in generating interest in Thieme online product portfolio and enhance trial usage by contacting prospects by presenting products/solution and qualifying leads for sales conversion. Also meeting existing customers and help motivate them to increase usage. . Role & Responsibilities 1. The role will require travelling to various institute in the region assigned. 2. Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, target identification, and classification. 3. Reaching out to new customers, making presentations and pitches on field, or virtually outlining the benefits of products/ services. 4. Closely working with the sales team to maintain a smooth flow of renewals and generate new opportunities for the e-Products assigned. 5. Maintaining relationships with all potential and existing clients. 6. Ensuring proper servicing and after-sales support to clients. 7. Maintain and further develop customer satisfaction and revenue growth. 8. Seamless onboarding of new customers and training. 9. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize daily workload and complete tasks independently. 7. Excellent time management, scheduling adherence skills and multitasking. 8. Knowledge of/ Interest in helping institutions/academic community to perform well in their field of study. Content Licensing & Commercialization Negotiate content licensing deals with medical societies and institutions. Work with legal & business teams to secure publishing & distribution rights for acquired content. Develop monetization strategies for licensed and co-developed pharma-centric content. Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications: ● Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field. ● 5-8 years of experience in medical publishing, medical communications, or digital healthcare content. ● Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry trends and medical society engagements. ● Proven ability to build & manage a network of KOLs, authors, and clinical experts. ● Experience in content acquisition, licensing, or partnership development is a plus. ● Prior experience in digital medical content, video learning, and e-learning platforms will be beneficial.
