The ideal candidate will possess proven sales experience in advertising, media, digital marketing, or related sectors, along with exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. A passion for brand marketing and digital media solutions is essential. Ownership of a two-wheeler for travel within Kochi is a requirement, and fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred. We partner with retailers across sectors—textiles, groceries, restaurants, and more—to help them attract, engage, and retain customers. Role Overview We are seeking a Retail Product Sales Executive who will be responsible for onboarding and managing merchant partners in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail product sales , excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities Identify, approach, and onboard retail merchants (textiles, grocery stores, restaurants, consumer products, etc.) to the Discount Dost platform. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term engagement. Pitch the platform’s value proposition and demonstrate how it helps merchants drive customer loyalty and increase sales. Achieve monthly merchant acquisition targets. Conduct regular follow-ups, resolve merchant queries, and ensure seamless onboarding. Travel across Chennai to meet potential clients (mandatory two-wheeler requirement). Maintain accurate reports of sales activities, merchant feedback, and market insights. Requirements 2–5 years of experience in retail sales, merchant acquisition, or FMCG/consumer product sales. Strong network with retail merchants is highly preferred. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently. Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai. Must own a two-wheeler with valid driving license . Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
