You will be responsible for conducting risk-based internal audits for the areas assigned to you. Additionally, you will need to take department-level initiatives to enhance the functionality and processes within the Internal Audit department. It is crucial to ensure the timely completion of all assigned tasks and to engage in discussions with relevant stakeholders regarding audit observations and inputs promptly. Furthermore, your role will involve managing the team to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness in achieving assigned tasks. You will also be accountable for maintaining the quality of audits and related documentation. Preparation and review of Risk Control Matrices (RCMs), internal audit reports for MD reviews, and quarterly reports for the Audit Committee Board (ACB) will be part of your responsibilities. You will conduct internal audits across various business functions such as credit, compliance, risk, and treasury. Assigning necessary training to the Internal Audit team on topics like RCMs, audit reports, and audit procedures will also fall under your purview. Collaboration with stakeholders and Heads of Departments (HODs) is essential to ensure the smooth functioning of the Internal Audit team and proactively address any challenges that may arise. Additionally, you will conduct thematic reviews of specific processes to assess system gaps and provide assurance on particular aspects within business processes as needed. Your role will be pivotal in evaluating and enhancing the internal audit processes to contribute to the overall effectiveness and risk management of the organization.,
