Institute Description The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), located in Mysuru, is a grant-in-aid institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mysore for an Accounts Executive. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, handling payroll, processing invoices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves coordinating with auditors and ensuring smooth financial operations within the institution. Qualifications Experience 3 to 5 Years in managing financial transactions, payroll, and preparing financial reports Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Familiarity with accounting software and tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); CA Articleship added advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B.E. (Civil Engineering) and M.Tech/M.E. with specialization in Surveying (or an equivalent field) . Ph.D. holders will be given preference. The candidate must be proficient in the use and handling of basic surveying instruments and total station equipment, with the ability to effectively teach and demonstrate their application during field and laboratory classes. Candidates should be capable of teaching their specialized subjects as well as associated subjects in the respective departments. A commitment to high-quality teaching, academic excellence, student mentoring and professional development is expected. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in departmental and institutional activities.
