Job Description TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Represent the Indus Health Network (IHHN) in Baluchistan for GF Malaria grant with relevant stakeholders to manage smooth implementation & cordial relations with them. Maintain strong working relations with relevant government departments at both provincial and district levels. Represent IHHN is government meetings/forums/platforms/etc. Play a key role in obtaining necessary notifications/letters/NoC and the like from the government, as well as the signing of LoUs, MoUs, etc with the government, on an as and when required basis. Maintain strong, collaborative relations with the SR through regular engagement, ensuring alignment with IHHN guidelines, approved workplan, and quality standards. Proactively identify and address any gaps in implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs, program integrity, and compliance with agreed standards. Assist Senior Manager Programs and Communication in identification of needs and opportunities for program expansion and facilitate the designing and development of proposals to explore new funding opportunities in line with the IHHN priority areas. Facilitate the strategic planning process in line with IHHN guidelines for the project. Supervise administration, logistics, HR and finance related activities to ensure compliance with IHHN and donor’s policies. Ensure achievements of the overall program objectives as per the respective grant agreements. Ensure implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation procedures to promote transparency, accountability and measureable impact of all activities. Manage timely submission of verified reports as per reporting schedules. Provide technical support if needed. Ensure compliance with the IHHN Policies & Procedures Manual in all processes. Ensure compliance with the Performance Appraisal System. Ensure compliance with the IHHN Safety and Security protocols across Baluchistan. Maintain close liaison with district counterparts on all technical and operational aspects of the program, especially with DoH and Malaria control program. In the line with the approved WP and PF develop a quarterly and Monthly DIP and share with provincial manager for approval from PMU Islamabad. Provide feedback on project activities to Provincial Office and PMU Islamabad on regular basis. In coordination with the district health authorities, identify malaria diagnostics and treatment centers and facilitate that these are maintained and providing Malaria prevention, treatment services as per the agreed SOPs. In coordination with the district health authorities, identify major private health centers to facilitate and initiate Malaria intervention through private sector. In coordination with the district health authorities, organize capacity building trainings, workshops, meetings for the staff of public and private health facilities on various Grant interventions. Monitoring all the record of logistic supplies. Regularly organize malaria coordination meetings at districts levels, share meeting minutes with Provincial office and act on action points agreed in the meetings. Build strong liaison with all relevant stakeholders at district level and ensure active representation regarding project. In coordination with the district health authorities, DMU ensure that facility monthly reports are collected and District Monthly report is prepared and submitted to provincial office timely. In Collaboration with Provincial teams, conduct need assessments and surveys. Maintain all program data bases (DHIS2/MIS, training and log data) timely at district levels. Provide technical and logistical support to make the nonfunctional malaria diagnostic centers fully operational. To participate in training arranged by PMU Islamabad. To Conduct monitoring & supervisory visits to health facilities at district level providing malaria related services. Strictly follow monthly and quarterly program implementation plans. Prepare monthly reports as per the need of the program. To provide data in orderly manner for quarterly progress update at PMU Islamabad.
