Position Overview

Textile Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design unique textile patterns and prints for home furnishing products.
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs meet market trends and customer expectations.
• Utilize embroidery techniques and surface design methods to enhance product appeal.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders and clients.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a portfolio of designs and document the design process for future reference.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product lines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience in textile or surface design, preferably in home furnishings.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Excellent understanding of textile materials, production processes, and market trends.
• Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and a passion for design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
