Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Textile Design Faculty, based in Mumbai. The faculty will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in textile design techniques, including pattern creation, material exploration, and design innovation. Additional responsibilities include developing curriculum, conducting workshops, staying updated with industry trends, evaluating student projects, and providing constructive feedback. The faculty will also collaborate with peers on academic initiatives and participate in related exhibitions and events.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Textile Design, including fabric construction, surface design, and textile techniques
Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and conducting design workshops
Knowledge of design software and tools relevant to the textile industry
Ability to inspire and mentor students to encourage creativity and innovation
Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Master's degree in Textile Design or a related field is preferred
Industry experience in textile design or related fields is advantageous
