Testing Manager, VP

As a Testing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing and assurance capabilities for a wide range of projects or programs. Your role will involve empowering and leading a team throughout the project lifecycle, setting team member objectives, and supporting capability development within our performance management framework. You will also have the opportunity to manage stakeholder relationships with various business, technology, and third-party entities, including senior-level stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions. This position is offered at the vice president level. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce detailed test strategy approaches aligning with existing processes to ensure that the output quality from all testing activities meets specified requirements. - Accountable for test management, scheduling, execution, and control, including resource planning. - Provide direction and leadership on testing matters within the program or project, ensuring adoption and compliance with bank-wide change standards. - Act as an advocate for improvement principles and play a key role as a stakeholder and adviser in project delivery. - Undertake end-to-end test management, including planning, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, lessons learned, and governance. - Review all key collateral related to delivery to ensure quality and identify any gaps or duplication. **Qualifications Required:** - Project management skills and detailed knowledge of the full systems development lifecycle and key delivery stages. - Experience in leading an end-to-end testing capability and taking accountability for project deliveries. - In-depth knowledge of key testing methodologies with the ability to influence and lead thought processes on methodology and governance. - Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
