Position Overview

Testing Manager (Phenotyping)

Key Responsibilities

Trial Planning & Execution

• Lead and execute vegetable crop testing (Phenotyping) in assigned geography.
  
• Manage hybrid testing trials (PCM-1, PCM-2, PCM-3) using scientific experimental designs.
  
• Ensure correct product testing by geography, season, and segment.
  

Data Management & Analysis

• Ensure accurate, high-quality data collection using digital tools such as

  Velocity

• Conduct data quality checks and support result interpretation with clear recommendations.
  
• Support analytics, automation, and adoption of new technologies in testing.
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with breeders, collaborative product unit teams, and testing teams.
  
• Align with commercial and product management teams to ensure relevant product evaluation.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsPlant Pathology, Seed Production, FS, Digital Capability teams, Marketing & Sales.
  

Team Leadership

• Guide, train, and mentor Testing Research Assistants (TRAs).
  
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting new tools, innovation, and stakeholder feedback.
  

Compliance & Operations

• Ensure safety compliance and completion of mandatory safety training.
  
• Handle government/external stakeholder liaison as needed.
  
• Manage daily operations, resource allocation, and field responsibilities.
  

Required Qualifications

• BS in Agriculture / Allied Fields

  with 7+ years experience, OR

• MS in Agriculture / Allied Fields

  with 4+ years’ experience, OR

• Ph.D. in Agriculture

  (fresh PhD graduates may apply).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of

  agronomy, vegetable crop breeding

  , and market needs.
• Knowledge of

  statistics, experimental designs

  , and data analysis.
• Strong computer proficiency (data analysis tools, digital field tools).
  
• Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  

Work Requirements
