Testing Engineer

You are a skilled Test Engineer who will be a crucial part of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project stakeholders to understand software requirements, developing test plans, designing detailed test cases, executing tests manually and through automated tools, and documenting test results for communication to the development team. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, conducting regression testing, tracking defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be involved in performance testing to assess software applications" responsiveness, stability, and scalability, as well as security testing to identify vulnerabilities. It is essential to create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing. Effective communication with project stakeholders and clear reporting on testing activities will be vital in this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in a Test Engineer or similar quality assurance role. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, proficiency in manual and automated testing, and familiarity with testing frameworks and tools are essential. Experience with agile development methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities are also required.
