Testing - Associate

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the test automation team and define the automation strategy, approach, and execution.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas for automation.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for test automation and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of test automation and make necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
• Communicate test automation progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).

Tools Knowledge:

• Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI.
• Version Control: Git, Bitbucket.
• Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner.
