Testing Associate

As an Automation Tester within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing and automation. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and document comprehensive testing strategies. You drive continuous improvement in testing practices to support seamless client experiences and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing, including User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Functional Testing.
• Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts with precision and clarity.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Apply good working knowledge of test frameworks and CI/CD to enhance automation and integration.
• Collaborate with Ops teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, ensuring timely bug resolution.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reports on testing results and software quality metrics.
• Provide training on best practices and industry-standard testing approaches to team members.
• Build competency assessment tests to evaluate and enhance tester skills.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

• Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as an Automation QA tester or similar role.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Proficient in Agile methodology and working knowledge of Jira.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Understanding of TDD, BDD, and Shift Left concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate, communicate, and deliver effective automated test solutions to both Development and QA organizations.
• Experience using MS Office products for analysis and presentation.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

• Exposure to Postman, SoapUI, or Rest API testing tools.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Basic knowledge of Web/HTML technologies.
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in AI/ML and prompt engineering.
