Tester III - Software Testing (Mobile App Testing)

Role Overview: As a Tester at UST, you will be responsible for performing tests in strict compliance, guiding other testers, and assisting test leads. Your role will involve constructing test scenarios and systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements, executing test cases, ensuring components or systems perform as expected, documenting test results, reporting defects, and facilitating changes in processes based on lessons learned. You will also be expected to develop the proficiency of other testers on the project. Key Responsibilities: - Construct test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements - Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements - Execute systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements - Ensure that new or revised components or systems perform to expectation - Ensure meeting standards including usability, performance, reliability, or compatibility - Document test results and report defects - Facilitate changes in processes/practices/procedures based on lessons learned from the engagement - Develop proficiency of other testers on the project Qualifications Required: - Ability to review user story/requirements to identify ambiguities - Ability to design test cases/scripts as per user story/requirements - Ability to apply techniques to design efficient test cases/scripts - Ability to set up test data and execute tests - Ability to identify anomalies and detail them - Knowledge of Methodologies, Tools, Types of testing, Testing Processes, and Testing Standards Additional Details about UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
