Test Engineer(Java + Selenium + Functional Testing)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Functional Testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and functionality. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment to validate product requirements and deliver a stable, high-quality application. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver Perform functional, integration, regression , and end-to-end testing Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed, reusable test cases Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks Execute manual test cases when automation is not applicable Participate in daily Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) Prepare test documentation: test plans, test reports, traceability matrices Report and track defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java Strong understanding of functional testing principles and software QA methodologies Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation Familiar with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems like Git Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail ) Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
