Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Technical & Analytical Responsibilities

• Make logical and data-driven decisions during testing and evaluation processes.
• Evaluate and validate correct procedures, ensuring adherence to defined processes.
• Analyse test results, prepare reports, and present findings clearly and accurately.
• Conduct testing of induction motors including

  Routine Tests, Type Tests, and Special Tests

  .
• Apply knowledge of

  measurement techniques

  used for induction motor testing.
• Utilize basic knowledge of

  Induction Motor Standards

  during test operations.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Perform maintenance activities on test plant equipment to ensure operational reliability.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical test equipment such as

  drives, transformers, and motors

  .
• Handle calibration activities for all relevant test equipment.
• Work with and understand drive systems including

  ACS 6000 & ACS 800

  .

Operational & Coordination Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding testing, reports, and inspection outcomes.
• Handle client inspections and coordinate internal testing as per customer requirements.
• Manage individual shift operations and ensure effective utilization of manpower.
• Prepare detailed test reports on induction motors after completion of testing activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong logical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of process orientation and ability to evaluate process compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and reporting ability.
• Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
• Hands-on experience with induction motor testing and related equipment.

Ability to manage shift operations independently
