The Test Engineering team, where you will be a Test Engineer, is responsible for the meticulous testing, evaluation, and validation of all devices. As part of this team of expert engineers, your primary responsibilities will include developing test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of the products. You will actively engage in the entire testing process, from creating test and diagnostic programs to suggesting improvements in testing equipment procedures and even designing new testing equipment. Your role as a Test Engineer in Bangalore will involve developing and documenting test plans and test cases for newly developed or existing hardware and solution products based on the product specifications outlined in the Business Contract. Collaboration with designers and technologists to identify test requirements and create test tools will be a key aspect of your work. Key Responsibilities: - Develop risk management plans considering all available information to assess technical and logistical risks in completing test activities as scheduled - Oversee the daily execution of test plans, providing guidance to both internal technicians and third-party test facilities - Communicate test execution progress and issues to the engineering team, and see through the resolution of issues from inception to closure - Collaborate with the Development team to address product issues identified during testing - Execute test automation scripts and identify opportunities for enhancing the use of test automation For this role, we seek individuals with: Essential Requirements: - 2 to 5 years of relevant experience - Sound understanding of hardware and software system architecture and interactions, with the ability to apply this knowledge to troubleshoot issues - Eagerness to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems - Proficiency in reading and comprehending technical data sheets Desirable Requirements: - Bachelor's degree At Dell Technologies, we believe in the unique contributions of each team member and strive to place our employees at the core of everything we do.
