Job Description

As a Test Automation Lead, your role will involve leading and managing the test automation efforts for multiple software projects related to core banking systems, online banking, integrations/middle-tier, loan originations, and mobile apps. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and implementing test automation strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with project requirements and industry standards. - Evaluating and selecting appropriate commercial and open-source testing automation tools based on project needs and budget constraints. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, define test automation requirements, and establish testing milestones. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using selected automation tools. - Integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth execution of automated tests. - Conducting code reviews, providing guidance, and mentoring team members in test automation practices. - Establishing and maintaining test data and test environment management processes. - Implementing and configuring test management tools for test planning, case management, and reporting. - Monitoring test automation metrics, tracking test coverage, and providing status updates to stakeholders. - Continuously assessing and improving the test automation framework, processes, and tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8-10 years of automation experience in Selenium Framework, and API testing tools like Rest Assure and Postman. - Strong knowledge of both commercial and open-source testing automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Karate, Python-Requests, jUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation suites into the pipeline. - Experience in testing RESTful APIs and Object-Oriented Design. - In-depth experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and parallel testing.
