As a Test Automation Engineer at our company, your role will involve contributing to the refinement process, developing automated tests, and supporting the team in manual testing tasks. Your responsibilities will include participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, defining test metrics, architecting automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java, and delivering test criteria for user stories. You will also be required to document framework architecture, mentor team members in automation best practices, and enforce test automation throughout the development process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives - Define test and quality metrics, measure and report on them - Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java - Deliver test criteria and test approach for user stories - Explain the test approach to stakeholders and developers - Enforce test automation in scrum sprints, define required test coverage, and report on coverage and performance - Document framework architecture, setup instructions, and usage guidelines - Mentor and support team members in automation best practices **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 6+ years in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG - Proficiency in designing and implementing automation frameworks for cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and CI/CD integration - Proficiency in API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber - Experience with agile project management tools like JIRA - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle - Proficiency with reporting tools like ExtentReports, Allure, or similar - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities In addition to the primary skills required for the role, familiarity with integrating automation frameworks with AI and experience in mobile app automation using Appium would be considered a plus.,
