Test Automation Engineer (Python)

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer at UBS, you will play a crucial role in preparing test plans and strategies for automation, developing automation scripts, and ensuring the quality assurance services are delivered efficiently. You will be part of a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge advisory platform project based in Pune. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare test plan and test strategy for test automation - Develop test automation scripts to automate functional and regression test cases - Develop and maintain Python test automation framework - Perform functional and non-functional testing activities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end automation and sustainable solutions - Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contributing to the engineering culture and internal communities Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance services - 4+ years of experience in automation testing in Python (Pytest framework) - Test automation experience with UI, API automation using tools like Selenium Webdriver, Python request, and Pydantic libraries - Good knowledge of SQL (experience with SQLAlchemy is a plus) - Complete understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect lifecycle - Experience with test planning, test execution, defect reporting, functional and non-functional testing, performance testing, and test data generation and management About the Company: UBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager.
