Test Automation Engineer (Python)

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer at UBS, you will play a key role in transforming the firm into an agile organization. You will have the opportunity to prepare test plans and strategies, develop automation scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall quality assurance services of the organization. Joining a fast-paced and delivery-focused team in Pune, you will work on a cutting-edge advisory platform project that covers the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Test Plan and Test strategy for test automation. - Develop test automation scripts to automate functional and regression test cases. - Develop and maintain Python test automation framework. - Perform functional and non-functional testing activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E2E automation and develop sustainable solutions. - Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, and contribute regularly to the engineering culture and internal communities. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance services. - 4+ years of experience in automation testing in Python (Pytest framework). - Test automation experience with UI, API automation using tools like Selenium Webdriver, Python request, and Pydantic libraries. - Good knowledge of SQL (experience with SQLAlchemy is a plus). - Complete understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect lifecycle. - Experience with Test planning, Test Strategy, Test execution, defect report, functional and non-functional testing. - Performance testing. - Test Data generation and management.
