Test Automation Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of automation testers to deliver high-quality test coverage across projects.
• Strategically plan and implement automation frameworks and robust testing processes.
• Continuously improve testing tools, scripts, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.
• Define test strategies, organize test cases into reusable components, and challenge legacy testing approaches with innovative solutions.
• Oversee sprint testing activities and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
• Drive the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks using Automation Anywhere, Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, JMeter, and Postman.
• Apply QA methodologies to support Agile, CI/CD, DevOps & hybrid delivery approaches.
• Produce the overall test delivery plan and define milestones, test tasks, and activities for business deliverables.
• Act as a single-point escalation for risks and issues, ensuring timely communication, mitigation strategies, and resolution.
• Hands-on experience in RPA Automation Anywhere and automation test development.
• Familiarity with Selenium or other web automation tools.
• Strong experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile Scrum practices, and DevOps environments.
• Proficiency in test automation scripting languages (Java/Python preferred).
• Experience with API testing and performance testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation failures.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.

Skills Required:

• RPA and hands-on expertise in Automation Anywhere
• Strong experience in Test Automation Framework Development
• Proficiency in Selenium / Playwright automation
• Strong programming/scripting skills using Java or Python
• Experience in API Testing (Postman / RestAssured)
• Knowledge of Performance Testing (JMeter)
• Solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps environments and QA methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience leading and mentoring automation testing teams
• Hands-on experience organizing test strategy, planning, and delivery roadmaps
• Familiarity with RPA solutions combined with enterprise automation frameworks
• Exposure to hybrid delivery approaches and cross-functional collaboration
