Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improve testing processes, and ensure software quality and reliability. - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and compliance with quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection. - Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with developers for resolution. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and share knowledge with peers. - Stay updated on industry technology trends, contribute to technology communities, and foster technical excellence. Qualifications Required: - Experience in programming languages such as Java - Familiarity with frameworks like Karate and Rest-assured - Proficiency in databases including Oracle, MariaDB, and SQL - Working knowledge of tools like Postman and Insomnia - Experience with defect management tools like JIRA and X-ray - Version control proficiency in Git or Bitbucket Additional Company Details: The role is based out of Pune.
