Job Profile: Sales Representative –

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Ensure consistent growth in sales volume and market share.
  • Market and Territory Management:
  • Manage an assigned sales territory, covering a range of retail outlets, distributors, and supermarkets.
  • Identify potential new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct regular visits to ensure proper product placement, stock availability, and display compliance.
  • Order Processing & Inventory Management:
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with distributors or warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels at client outlets and recommend stock replenishment.
  • Product Promotion and Merchandising:
  • Implement promotional strategies (e.g., discounts, offers) as planned by the company’s marketing team.
  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and follow brand guidelines at various retail locations.
  • Set up point-of-sale (POS) materials and promotional displays.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Gather and report on competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences, market trends, and sales strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Resolve client complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer information, and inventory.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Area Sales Manager or higher management.
  • Training and Development:
  • Educate retailers and staff about new product features, usage, and benefits.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on company products and sales techniques.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-3 years in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with retailers and distributors to achieve the best sales outcomes.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on understanding customer needs and providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
