Teradata Data modelers

You will be a Teradata Data Modeler for our client, a trusted global innovator of IT and business services. Your role involves transforming clients through consulting, industry solutions, business process services, digital & IT modernization, and managed services, enabling them to confidently move into the digital future. With a commitment to long-term client success, you will provide global reach with local client attention in over 50 countries worldwide. As a Teradata Data Modeler, you will be based in Mumbai (Powai / Mahape) and should have a minimum of 5 years of experience. This position is on a contract-to-hire basis, requiring immediate joiners. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating 5-10 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, metadata management, and related tools such as Erwin or ER Studio - Possessing a strong knowledge of data modeling principles, encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical data models - Having a deep understanding of the Teradata FSLDM, including its structure, components, and best practices for implementation - Proficiency in Teradata database technologies, including SQL, utilities, and performance tuning - Expertise in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data models, mappings, and data governance policies - Utilizing strong SQL skills for data manipulation, query optimization, and data validation - Understanding data warehousing concepts, medallion architecture, and best practices - Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues - Understanding metadata management principles - Preferred knowledge of the insurance domain and its data structures If you possess the mandatory skills mentioned above and are looking to leverage your expertise in data modeling within a dynamic global environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Teradata Data Modeler with our client.,
