Two Positions Open Bangalore & Pune, India Job Summary As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will deliver end-to-end technical support throughout the customer design cycle—from initial concept and evaluation to development and deployment. This role involves close collaboration with customer engineering teams and their OEM partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of solutions. You will develop deep expertise in Telit's portfolio of data-card products, serving as a trusted technical advisor and problem solver during both pre-sales and post-sales engagements. Objectives & Responsibilities Extensive technology migration demands extreme technical support to our existing as well as new customer acquisition. Technical/Product presentation and pre-sales support to customers. Optimize trouble shooting (including log analysis, tracing, on-site testing) to establish the root cause of problems found in the field. Raising failure reports, identification of solution or workaround and if needed internal defect escalation in a structured manner. Enable customers to develop new wireless applications (e.g. test scripts, application notes, design hints…) Work together with all the stakeholders to be accountable for meeting the design win targets, and to achieve revenue growth. Provide outstanding customer support, product and technical trainings to distributors and customers to help company achieve its business objectives. Work with internal teams to file defect reports, identification of solutions or workarounds, and drive resolution towards customer satisfaction. Build and manage relationships with customer’ technical and management teams. The FAE has to be autonomous and has to be willing to travel within assigned regions in order to: Meet with customer’s R&D during development to provide onsite support, troubleshooting, roadmap discussions etc. Meet with our Indirect Sales channels, conduct workshops and provide trainings. Excellent communication and project management skills, and a well-rounded personality: results-driven, self-disciplined, determined, and proactive. Ability to manage multiple priorities/timelines. Requirements & Qualifications Required education and degree type: Bachelors or master’s in electrical/Electronic engineering or similar. 5-10 years of experience in wireless industry, semiconductor or in embedded design & development. Knowledge of IoT market trend and its verticals (eg. Security, Healthcare, Energy, POS), and the key technology development status. Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G) and network standardization evolvement (3GPP Rel.x) Familiar with Linux & embedded Linux Familiar with Embedded SW concept, with language skills such as C/C++/Python Experienced with project management (schedule, risk, cost), crisis management and escalations. Excellent in both internal communication and customer communication, fluent English language skills in both spoken and written. Strong (English is MUST) communication skills, good presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Understand the process of regulatory and MNO approvals. Customer oriented and good with building and maintaining the customer relationship. Knowledge of HW/SW development process, with factory production knowledge is a plus. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales / Account Manager to lead and implement sales strategies for IoT solutions in the automotive industry, specifically within the 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler, and 4-wheeler EV segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction by aligning Telit Cinterion’s offerings with client needs. Objectives & Responsibilities Drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across defined accounts in the automotive IoT sector. Expand Telit Cinterion’s presence through strategic customer and partner engagement. Deliver on short- and long-term business objectives with measurable outcomes. Develop and implement regional sales strategies targeting defined IoT customers and channel partners. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the automotive IoT market. Serve as the primary sales and account contact for assigned customers and partners. Manage all revenue streams and strategic planning within assigned accounts. Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development in the IoT sector. Strong understanding of EV platforms and connectivity solutions in the 2W/3W/4W automotive segments. Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and cross-functional projects. Proficiency in coordinating with cross-border teams and managing multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with product roadmaps, RFQs, tender processes, and account strategy planning. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with or for major automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or IoT solution providers. Knowledge of M2M/IoT communication protocols and platforms (e.g., cellular modules, eSIM, connectivity management). MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is a plus. Experience with sales planning tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Exposure to global or regional markets, especially in APAC/India.
