Role Description

Ayurveda Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth consultations for patients seeking Ayurvedic treatments
• Assess patient history and symptoms to recommend suitable therapies, diet, and lifestyle modifications
• Prescribe safe, ethical Ayurvedic medicines (non-diagnostic teleconsultation, as per regulatory norms)
• Document consultation notes and provide digital follow-ups
• Promote holistic health and wellness awareness through CareMeez content initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BAMS) or higher in Ayurveda from a recognized institution
• Registered Ayurvedic practitioner (valid license/registration mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of classical texts, therapies, and herbal formulations
• Comfortable using digital platforms for video/audio consultations
• Good communication skills in English and/or regional languages
• Prior teleconsultation experience preferred but not required
