Responsibilities:

• Engage with potential donors via phone calls to explain our mission and funding needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors.
• Utilize scripts effectively while also personalizing conversations to resonate with the audience.
• Document interactions with donors accurately and maintain records in our database.
• Meet or exceed fundraising targets set by the organization.
• Conduct follow-up calls to cultivate interest and nurture relationships.
• Help organize fundraising events and campaigns as directed.
• Stay informed about our programs and developments to convey accurate information.
• Provide feedback on donor interactions to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and optimize fundraising techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and persuade potential donors effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software and data entry procedures.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and resilience in the face of challenges.
• Passion for social causes and commitment to making an impact.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in communication or a related field is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
