Tekla modeler

Overview:
A Tekla Drafter is responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D structural steel or concrete models, detailed fabrication drawings, and reports using Tekla Structures software. The role supports engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams in delivering precise and efficient construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 3D models of steel or concrete structures using Tekla Structures.
• Generate fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings (GA), erection drawings, and material lists.
• Create and manage BIM models in coordination with engineers and architects.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, architectural layouts, and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project standards, codes, and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers to resolve modeling or detailing issues.
• Update and revise models/drawings as per design changes and revisions.
• Perform clash detection and ensure buildability and accuracy of models.
• Generate reports, bolt lists, and NC (Numerical Control) files for fabrication.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all Tekla models and drawings.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures software (steel and/or concrete).
• Understanding of structural and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, codes, and detailing practices.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Diploma / Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience as a Tekla Drafter (for junior roles) or 4+ years (for senior roles).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
