About the job

We are seeking an experienced Tekla Modeler with over 3 years of hands-on experience in structural and steel modeling using Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in detailed 3D Checking, GA drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for structural steel.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Develop accurate 3D Tekla models for structural steel components, including members, connections, and assemblies, based on architectural and structural drawings.

· Prepare GA drawings, shop drawings, and erection drawings, along with material take-offs and reports, ensuring fabrication and erection feasibility.

· Handle modeling and detailing tasks, raise RFIs for design clarifications, and respond logically to RFI answers.

· Coordinate with internal teams and subordinates, ensuring smooth workflow, technical guidance, and timely delivery of project milestones.

· Check models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements; perform model cross-checks and clash detection.

· Utilize Tekla shortcuts and macros to enhance modeling efficiency and maintain high productivity standards.

· Support connection modeling and basic design interpretation, ensuring structural logic and constructability are integrated into the model.

· Communicate effectively with clients and team members, addressing queries, providing updates, and ensuring quality and timelines are maintained.

Skills Required

· Diploma/Bachelor s in Civil from an accredited college.

· 3+ years of experience in the related Industry

· Must have in-depth working knowledge of current versions

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals

· Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance

· Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
