As a Technical Engineering role at EY, you will be responsible for supporting portal applications using technologies such as Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting portal applications with Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS technologies - Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (India Shift, US Shift) and provide On Call Support - Designing, building, and supporting Business Objects environment and services - Troubleshooting Business Objects report performance issues and raising SAP cases when necessary - Managing middleware applications with various interfaces including Guidewire system - Designing, modifying, and implementing changes to existing applications built in Java, Spring boot, and Hibernate - Collaborating with customers and delivery teams on implementations and remote services - Exhibiting strong communication, presentation, and writing skills to engage stakeholders and gather requirements - Possessing a deep understanding of Java, Angular, Hibernate, architecture, and components - Demonstrating expertise in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging System - Experience in Insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty - Prior experience with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins - Understanding of service management, change management activities, SLAs, and estimator tools To qualify for this role, you must have proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System, and Tomcat or Web sphere/WebLogic.
