Technology Operations and Support Engineer, Network and Telephony

The role at Ralph Lauren Corporation in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, within the Information Technology department involves assisting in managing the Retail Network Infrastructure daily operations and network-based telephony solutions. Your responsibilities will include performing system maintenance, identifying trends, providing reporting for outages and resolutions, and managing various network designs across regions, such as Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Cloudgenix, and traditional WAN, IWAN, and SDWAN. As part of the essential duties and responsibilities, you will be responsible for providing connectivity troubleshooting and support in response to Help Desk service requests and Retail Operations business needs. You will manage the Retail installed routers, switches, wireless access points, and telephony connectivity. Additionally, you will handle the wired and wireless infrastructure using tool platforms from hardware providers such as Cisco, Meraki, Cradlepoint, Cloudgenix, and Solarwinds. Remote device configuration for MAC work or SEV 1 hardware replacement will also be part of your tasks. It is essential to utilize change management best practices and reporting processes, review monitoring tool platforms, audit for accuracy, and take necessary actions when alerts are generated. Furthermore, you will work on Zoom telephony, troubleshoot issues, and assist with configuration and management of the platform. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience with proven analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to collect operational data, analyze results, and monitor variances. Effective prioritization and execution of multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment are required. Being organized with a keen attention to detail, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and being skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment are crucial. Candidates must have an in-depth understanding of local and wide area network concepts, IP routing, switching technologies, VLANs, ACLs, ZBFW, SDWAN, Cisco equipment, and operating systems, including configuration. Strong technical, troubleshooting, written, and oral communication skills with a proven track record for success are imperative for this role.,
