Role Summary

Your role and responsibilities

Your mission as a Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) Sales leader is to lead and coach Sales teams as they work to grow each Client's IBM annual spend by identifying and successfully upselling and cross selling IBM Logo and Multi-Vendor Services (MVS). As a TLS Sales leader you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both enterprise and commercial client relationships. The core responsibility of the role is to leverage prospecting skills to develop new business follow sales leads and support TLS in their growth into whitespace territories. Working within a team of sellers, you'll strive to achieve growth targets, ensuring an active sales pipeline, facilitating pricing and quotations, and participate in sales campaigns and strategies. You'll be an advocate for the interests of clients whilst ensuring TLS and IBM's objectives are represented and fulfilled.

Role Responsibilities

focus on Complex transactions

with

accountability

on the following:
  • Revenue and Signings growth and achieving the budgets/targets (quarterly and FY) across IBM Logo and Multi Vendor Services.
  • Drive end-to-end Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) portfolio with clients and partners for key client segments
  • Deep knowledge of TLS offerings to articulate the IBM value proposition and differentiation from competitors
  • Collaborate with IBM teams to ensure alignment with client engagement and negotiations
  • Support territory strategy and planning and contributes to the account planning process for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for overall execution and closure of TLS Renewal & Expansion opportunities in collaboration with Partners and IBM teams
  • Lead & coach teams to successfully renew and expand existing contracts, identify new opportunities and win back business from Third Party Maintainers.
  • Build the right mix of skills and optimizes resource utilization to meet market and client demands
  • Demonstrates growth mindset and radical candour

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Capability and skills required

  • Knowledge of IBM Logo Platform, and Support
  • Proven experience to deal with Large/Enterprise clients
  • A proven track record overachieving targets and budgets & maintaining a high level of activity
  • Clear and effective business communications skills both written and verbal
  • Passion for the job, Positive Attitude, Positive Energy, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity
  • Understanding in range of infrastructure technologies.
  • Knowledge of both IBM platforms, and third-party Server & Storage, Networking and Open-Source technologies is especially desirable.
